Pursuing Dream Team Speaks at Hong Kong Web3.0 Association Summit, Advocating for Legal and Regulated Web3 Investment

The “Anchoring the Future of Web3.0 Summit and RWA Research & Technology Achievement Conference” was successfully held in Hong Kong, organized by the Hong Kong Web3.0 Standardization Association, hosted by Ant Digital Technology, and co-organized by AI Mall Tech. The event was supported by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University AIoT Research Institute and the IEEE Computer Society Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology Standardization Committee, attracting prominent figures from government, academia, and the Web3 industry.

Distinguished guests in attendance included Leung Chun-ying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Christopher Hui, Hong Kong Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury; Jonathan Choi, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong; Legislative Council members Wong Kam-fai and Huang Chun-seok; as well as diplomatic representatives from Australia, Belgium, and South Africa.

During the summit, the Hong Kong Web3.0 Standardization Association announced the official launch of the world’s first RWA (Real World Asset) registration and verification platform, along with the signing of the first batch of global strategic cooperation agreements. This milestone marks a major step in providing infrastructure for the tokenization of real-world assets and establishing standardized frameworks for global digital asset management.

As one of the invited guest organizations, Pursuing Dream Team shared its insights on the importance of regulatory compliance and ethical governance in the Web3 investment ecosystem. The team called on industry players to uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability as the foundation for a sustainable global digital economy.

Julian Tan, mentor of Pursuing Dream Team, stated during his address:

“Compliance and security must be the cornerstone of the Web3 revolution. In recent years, some unlawful projects have used the banner of ‘Web3 innovation’ to commit financial fraud and illegal fundraising, damaging both investors and the industry’s reputation. Pursuing Dream Team firmly believes that legalization and standardization are essential for Web3’s long-term growth. Our mission is not short-term profit, but to create real value and ensure investors can participate in the future of digital finance within a regulated and trustworthy environment.”

As a globally licensed and compliant Web3 investment institution, Pursuing Dream Team holds multiple international credentials, including the U.S. FinCEN-registered Money Services Business (MSB) license, as well as several domestic financial service certifications. The team prioritizes investor protection, financial transparency, and regulatory integrity, and is actively engaged in Web3 education, compliance advocacy, and risk prevention initiatives worldwide.

During the panel discussion, representatives from Pursuing Dream Team shared their practical experiences in RWA investment risk management and standardization, presenting the concept of “Compliance as the Anchor, Innovation as the Wing.” Their insights received strong recognition from attending scholars and industry experts.

In his keynote remarks, Li Ming, Executive President of the Hong Kong Web3.0 Standardization Association, emphasized that since its establishment in 2024, the Association has been dedicated to “supporting government initiatives, serving the industry, building consensus, regulating the ecosystem, and promoting innovation.” Hong Kong, he noted, is positioning itself as a global hub for digital economic innovation, leveraging standardization to strengthen its leadership in emerging sectors such as RWA, DeFi, and Depin.

Pursuing Dream Team reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with international partners to promote transparency, compliance, and investor confidence in the Web3 sector. The team aims to support Hong Kong’s growing role as a bridge and model city for global Web3 development, contributing to the sustainable prosperity of the digital economy.
